Front End Loaders
The Bi-LINE system has been adapted to provide access on Front End Loading refuse vehicles.  The more complex nature of these vehicles requires the installation of two systems to provide complete access to the roof area.  One system is fitted over the main compactor body and one is fitted to the lid over the compactor itself.  If access is required on the cab guard over the vehicle cabin, an additional lanyard would also be required.

The operation of each system is the same as with the standard Bi-LINE systems.  The operative access the main body of the vehicle via a suitably secured ladder, once they are level with the roof of the vehicle they can take hold of the system lanyard, this provides the third point of contact under ladder access regulations. Before carrying out any work on the vehicle the operative must connect the lanyard swivel hook to their work positioning belt.  The lanyard on this first system will travel along the full length of the main compactor body, the operative can transfer their connection to the second system for access over the compactor lid.  Access over the cab using the cab guard lanyard would be via an access ladder at the front of the vehicle.
